For those interested in Umberto we offer a variety of options to get to know the software and its functions, as well as to learn more about material flow networks in general.

• Umberto Trial Version
  The Umberto 5test version allows to test the Umberto program package and all its functionality for a period of 30 days.
• Umberto Test Pro Package
  The Umberto 5test pro package has an extended trial period of 90 days and includes one day of support on site (not available in all countries).
• Umberto Trainings (Introductory and Advanced)
  We offer regular Umberto training courses on the introductory and advanced level. In these courses participants will use Umberto for practical examples and explore the range of functions it offers. They will allow you to efficiently use Umberto in your tasks in material flow analysis, process optimization and LCA. The training course date are published in the Umberto News on this website.
• Individual On-Site Trainings
  If you cannot participate in the training course offered for the general public, you might prefer an inhouse training at your location. Please contact us for individually tailored inhouse trainings, available in German, English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
• Trade Fairs, Seminars, Workshops
  Of course Umberto and the services of ifu are presented regularly on trade fairs and environmental expos. We also participate in congresses and seminars in the environmental management, environmental informatics and industrial ecology fields. Please check the Umberto News to find out where you can meet us.
• Umberto Newsfeed
  A free newsfeed with information on the development of Umberto, practical applications and events. Subscribe to the Umberto Newsfeed to stay informed about Umberto.
• Umberto Partner and Distributors - Your Local Contact Point
  We are striving to offer Umberto services and support locally in a growing number of countries. For individual countries and for specific branches we can name on request local partners, who speak your language, and better understand your specific requirements. Please contact us for more details.

• Update and Support Service
  Receive all updates for Umberto immediately after their release and always use the latest version. Additionally the Umberto help desk team will give technical advice fast and competently. 
• Modeling Support
  If you want us to assist you in specific modeling situations you can order Modeling Support Credits. If you just need our help from time to time, you can use pre-purchased Modeling Support Credits (each valid for 20 minutes of expert support) to ask your modelling questions. 
• Developer Support
  The Developer Support package includes all benefits of the above Support and Update Service. Additionally the users get extended support from our developer staff, in order to customize Umberto using script languages. This includes an full documentation of the COM/DCOM interfaces, a COM browser application,and example scripts.
• my.Umberto User Forum
  The my.Umberto User Forum intends to serve as a platform for the communication of the Umberto user community. It also is a place where you can find up-to-date information, background texts, downloads, etc.
• Umberto User Workshops
  Our annual Umberto User Workshop unites the most active users and is a possibility to share your experiences with Umberto. Projects are presented and ideas are exchanged. You can discuss specific questions regarding Umberto and approaches for advances modeling situations. As a user of Umberto, you'll be automatically invited to assist. If you are not (yet) an Umbeto User, please contact us at info@ifu.com to find out if there are places left.
• Consulting Services and Umberto Customizing
  We offer to our customers a variety if services to make the use of Umberto even more efficient and targeted for your specific requirements. This includes customizing of Umberto, programming of special features in order to cover individual sectoral situations and integration of Umberto into the exisitng IT infrastructure.
