Training Courses

To get a fast and efficient start into working with Umberto, ifu Hamburg GmbH regularly holds training courses. Additonally we do offer inhouse training courses on various topics at your company.

Umberto Introductory and Advanced Training Courses

The Introductory Training Courses offer a good possibility to learn how to use Umberto. Practical modeling examples are presented and users work directly at the PC to discover the various functions of the software. The Advanced Training Courses focus os specfic topics and are destined at the user who has some experience with Umberto already.

Currently we offer regular training courses every four to six months at locations in Northern and Southern Germany. For courses in other countries, please contact us. Dates and locations of the courses are also announced in the News section of this webiste and in the free Umberto Newsletter.

Individual On-Site Trainings and Presentations

If you do not have time to attend one of the regular training courses, or prefer to have a training on site at your company, we will be pleased to make an individual quotation. Courses can be held in German, English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. We can also adapt the contents of the courses to specific topics and questions you may have, such as material flow management, environmental information systems, specific environmental impact assessment methods, material-flow based cost accounting issues, decision support for requirements of emssion rights trading, etc.
